The position is required to support the student experience through effective communication of course and unit information (including new offerings, curriculum changes, course transition/pipelining plans, course maps, admission and selection criteria, recognition of prior learning (RPL), to all stakeholders, particularly in student services, marketing, and partnerships teams). Provide secretariat support for relevant Faculty Committees as required. Support VTAC selection in collaboration with the Student Services Division and provide support to academics in the development of course transition plans and course maps.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Work with team members to facilitate growth and development by giving balanced, constructive feedback.
Investigate and probe for the facts and identify relevant solutions to curriculum process and accreditation and select the most appropriate from the range of alternatives.
Seek feedback from key stakeholders regarding their satisfaction and perspective with academic services received, respond to feedback with openness and transparency and seek to identify ways to better service the customer.
Provide ethical advice to clients on academic services process and practice that address underlying issues, promoting value-adding insights and recommendations.
Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and key influential individuals across the University.
Develop and implement practical, accessible academic service solutions based on stakeholder needs.
Communicate with confidence using examples and the most appropriate influencing technique for a given situation to increase understanding and support.
To be successful, you’ll have:
A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
Experience in admission and enrolment processes in a university setting
Experience in provision of course advice to students/staff
