In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee the seamless operation of the hotels facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality and Service Management:
Ensure the highest standards of guest service, venue presentation, and quality of food, beverage, and gaming. - Staff Leadership:
Lead the recruitment, training, and management of front-of-house teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Operational Efficiency:
Utilize systems such as Tanda for effective rostering and staff management, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting service standards. - Shift Supervision:
Guarantee that each department is fully prepared for their shifts, manage staff allocations during peak times, and uphold security procedures. - Safety and Compliance:
Oversee health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with RSA/RSG regulations and maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests. - Productivity and Morale:
Drive high productivity and maintain positive staff morale, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. - Financial Oversight:
Assist in managing the venue's financial performance, controlling costs, and setting financial targets to ensure profitability and revenue growth. - Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all venue departments and the motel, creating a welcoming and well-presented environment for guests.
