Job Title: Senior / Associate Building Surveyor
The Role:
One of our preferred clients is seeking a Registered Certifier / Building Surveyor with proven industry experience in managing some of the largest certification projects in NSW. Responsibilities include overseeing Class 2-9 buildings and serving as the primary point of contact for medium to large sized projects. This role demands autonomy, client-focused dedication, and a willingness to excel within a challenging yet rewarding environment.

We are anticipating this role will offer the successful candidate anything from $180-220K base salary, plus super, plus $50-70K bonus.
Duties:
You will offer technical expertise in matters related to Building Regulations, the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, fire safety and accessibility. Collaborating closely with our team, you will undertake increasingly complex projects and explore new areas of Building Regulation/s. Duties also include conducting site inspections, engaging with clients and design teams, and contributing to the company's marketing and growth initiatives to develop your own client base.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum Grade: Building Surveyor – Unrestricted (or capable of achieving).
- Previous experience in local government and/or private consultancy is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in managing Class 2-9 buildings across various project scales.
- Ability to work autonomously and assume leadership roles on medium to large-sized projects.
- Strong commitment to professional development and maintaining high standards of work.
- Client-focused mindset, willing to meet demanding challenges while ensuring client satisfaction.
