Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Based in Findon, Thrive Health Therapies is looking to promote and extend it's community based and in clinic services. We're looking for a wonderful Senior Paediatric OT to take the lead!

Our aim is to provide a quality service for our participants, supporting them to achieve their goals and actively participate in their communities. We provide community-based services throughout Adelaide, the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills, and in clinic services at our clinic in Findon.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to take up a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist position. 

The opportunity: 

• Undertake a split clinical and leadership role with OT direct reports and a varied paediatric caseload;
• Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy including a variety of assessments, providing direct and indirect therapy and liaising with families, teachers, professionals and support staff; 
• Lead through supervision and professional development opportunities, development and procurement of clinic materials, and collaboration with leaders to develop and grow our therapy service; 
• Engage in service development, and programming and contribute to the professional development agenda and training program. 

ABOUT YOU:

Along with your strong work ethic and previous industry experience you'll have: 

• Minimum 2 years experience will be considered
• Recognised degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and AHPRA
• Eligibility to hold a Medicare Provider Number
• Current Working With Children Check
• Demonstrated ability to support children with a variety of clinical needs, including motor coordination, sensory and emotional regulation challenges
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
• A positive, mature and helpful approach to your work
