The Role:
Part of a small team of Implementation Consultants, this role will utilise your payroll knowledge and technology skills to work with customers to configure their payroll awards and enterprise agreements in their system during the implement stage of a new system. This will include testing the rules and getting sign-off from the customer before going live.
Effectively you will be responsible for technically onboarding newly assigned customers onto the platform working with relevant internal teams (Customer Success, Support, Product & Sales)
- Conduct training sessions for customer stakeholders, provide hands on assistance for configuration activities and support customs
- Acting as a relationship holder and operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your Implementations
- Effectively managing all day-to-day communication, tasks, projects, and strategy for all assigned customers
- Actively participate in Parallel Payrun Testing and analysis
- Be a subject matter expert and build complex payrules, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements in our pay engine with all due care and testing
- Proactively mentor and train new members of the team and provide ongoing support
- Manage large and complex implementations as lead project manager or support project manager
- Assist both clients and colleagues with Fairwork Award interpretation and Ruleset formation related queries and professional services as required
- In conjunction with our Support Team, assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed resolving payroll related problems or questions
- Be a passionate Payroll Implementation Specialist - with extensive experience and knowledge of Fair Work Award Interpretation, Complex Pay Rule configuration and building awards in payroll systems.
- Attention to detail, comfortable with complexity and a willingness to deliver a high standard of customer service
- Strong communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders and peers to ensure engagement and deliverables
- Knowledge of Australian and NZ labour laws and employment legislations
- Able to prioritise, manage expectations and resolve customer enquiries as required to ensure deadlines are met
