Senior Payroll Officer

This global company has operations in multiple locations across the work and are market leaders within their industry, and over the last couple of years have obtained employer of choice status. Due to growth, they are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Senior Payroll Officer, you’ll be a part of the HR team and your main responsibilities will be;

• Ensuring smooth delivery of monthly outsourced payroll, guaranteeing accurate and timely salary distribution.
• Managing payroll data for our sites and supporting the broader HR team.
• Collaborating with outsourced providers and internal stakeholders for seamless communication.
• Collecting, analysing, and reporting on payroll data and metrics.
• Supporting HR teams with HR Systems delivery and special projects.
• Maintaining payroll records, systems, databases and files.
• Assisting with award interpretation and integration into payroll.
• Performing general administration duties, including data entry and filing.
• Ensuring payroll preparation and accuracy within designated timelines.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll possess knowledge of modern awards and have a proven record working on a 1000+ person Payroll. You’ll ideally have experience working with an outsourced payroll system and have the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Your written and verbal communication skills will be highly developed, and you’ll be an excellent team player. You’ll have the proven ability to work autonomously and will enjoy a challenge. Experience with a large system such as SAP or Chris21 would be highly advantageous.
