As a Payroll Officer and Accounts Administration person you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of payroll working closely with senior management.  Help transition to a new system.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end to end payroll function for all staff - permanent, part time and contractors.
• 65 permanent staff with 15 contractors.
• Make Superannuation and Work Cover payments.
• Maintain sick leave and annual leave records.
• Knowledge of relevant Food industry or similar Awards essential.  
• Maintain accurate payroll records, process payroll transactions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Attending to general staff enquiries.
• End of year compliance and reporting.
• Payment summaries. 
• Knowledge of STP payroll 1 and 2.
• Liaise with ATO and other stakeholders if required.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all financial transactions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Payroll officer.
• Experience with STP Payroll 1 and 2.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in numerical data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
