A bit about the roleReporting to the Team Leader Payroll & Superannuation, you will be responsible for optimising payroll functions, including the processing of fortnightly payroll and superannuation for over 2,000 employees in a timely manner. You will work together with your team and leaders in the organisation to identify and implement payroll and system solutions, giving guidance on improvement initiatives and enhance capability. We are looking for someone with strong payroll and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, enhance customer experience whilst maintaining confidentiality.What you’ll deliverFortnightly payroll functions, including new starters, changes and terminationsAccurate payroll records, representative of entitlements and conditionsKinder Mentor payments processPayroll projectsProvide accurate EBA, Award, Policies, ATO Legislation & Compliance Standards application to payroll functionsPayroll queries investigation and resolutionEnd user training and supportProcess improvements deliverables in collaboration with leadership teamStrong client relationships with a focus on deliveryWhat you’ll bringHighly developed analytical, investigative and computer literacy skills, with high level experience administering and managing a payroll systemA passion for innovation and continuous improvement, conceptualising and implementing creative solutions to achieve efficiency and enhanced decision-making capacityRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or comprehensive experience working with payroll functions and system (Aurion experience preferred), policies and practices (or equivalent) in a complex environmentDemonstrated knowledge in the full suite of People & Capability e.g. Awards, Payroll, Audits, Risk Management processes and practicesStrong stakeholder engagement Ability to work in a face paced environment and meet strict deadlinesA positive, enthusiastic, curious, and flexible mindWhat’s next?If you think this role might be for you, we want to hear from you.
