Our Client
Our client is a leading resources firm with a glowing reputation and strong national presence across Australia. They currently have a rare opening for a Senior People & Engagement Advisor to join their Site based team on a FIFO basis.
Description
Reporting to the People & Engagement Superintendent, your duties will include, but not limited to;

• Offering Generalist HR guidance and support to internal stakeholders
• Working closely with the Site Managers and leadership group to support day to day operations
• Support the management team with policy and procedure development
• Employee Relations; resolving issues, conflicts, performance management and disciplinaries
• Driving best practice and conducting internal investigations when required
• Assisting the wider business with general HR queries and requests
• Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
• Interpret all relevant modern awards, enterprise agreements, legislation and regulations

Profile
As an ideal applicant, you will have;

• Previous experience within a similar capacity
• Knowledge and understanding of the resources sector
• Proven transactional generalist experience, with a dedicated focus on performance management
• Outstanding organisation skills and attention to detail
• Superb communication style and ability
• Excellent use of own initiative
