And now, we are looking for a Senior People Operations Advisor to manage the end-to-end administration and coordination of the People function for JD Sports ANZ. The Senior People Operations Advisor will create a seamless people experience at every touch point for all team members.
As the Senior People Operations Advisor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Manage vacancy approval processes as well as advertise positions on relevant job boards
• Conduct employment checks such as reference checks, police checks, Vevo checks etc
• Manage onboarding of all new starters and variations of employment within the SLA
• Process terminations and manage tickets through streamlined support
• Ensure Award rates and salary documents for retail and warehouse are updated and distributed to the correct stakeholders
• Prepare HR letters inclusive of confirmation of employment, jury duty, parental leave etc
• Maintain company organisational charts
• Maintain/monitor the HR inbox
• Maintain the People content on our L&D platform (Myagi) by collaborating with key team members within People Relations, Talent, WHS etc
• Train new store managers on People Operations processes
• Run reports as requested including outstanding contracts etc
• Work across a number of key projects, including Peak Trade recruitment, New Store Openings, HRIS transformation project etc

Who You Are

• Minimum two years experience in a similar position within the Retail industry
• Degree or Qualification in Business, Human Resources or related discipline
• Intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment and juggle multiple tasks
• Highly developed time management and prioritisation skills
• Previous experience using an ATS and/or HR system
