The Role

As the Senior Performance Analyst, you will provide a key role in influencing data-driven decision making by combining advanced analytical skills with your thought leadership to improve performance for our customers.

By extracting data and information from Suncorp's expansive data assets, you will identify ways to enhance customer outcomes, financial profitability and business opportunities that include product, operational and customer onboarding effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Establish and design key predictive models of both portfolio performance and emerging customer behaviour
• Develop and maintain core product performance and operational dashboards to enable business owners and stakeholders to track performance and identify action plans across key business objectives
• Drive the continuous improvement of performance dashboards and data assets in order to enhance business performance and assist factual decision making
• Provide support for major initiatives and change programs by monitoring and identifying key measures of success and enhancement opportunities
• Assist in preparing data visualisation models and commentary in response to queries from senior leadership and the Board
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including finance, technology and distribution teams to add end to end value
• Opportunity to develop and implement new portfolio performance reporting framework

What you'll

• Qualification in Analytics, Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance related field (desired)
• 5+ years of experience analysing complex and diverse data to improve commercial performance
• Experience using SQL, Netezza, Tableau, COGNOS is desired
• Proven ability to create insights and actionable recommendations from various data sets to build a narrative that drives the business growth. Including testing & learning through results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to present complex concepts clearly to stakeholders
• Advanced ability to influence strategic decisions through thoughtful analysis & consideration
• Comfortable with both working autonomously and collaborating with a range of stakeholders and team members
• Expert level of MS Excel computing skills is essential
