THE ROLE AVAILABLE:
The Senior Investment Performance Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed and insightful performance analytics for the companies statewide team, and external stakeholders with a focus on continually negotiating and exposing stakeholders to new business requirements which are efficient, cost effective and offer scalability.
This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract and encompasses a genuine blend of analytics, modelling, planning, leadership and external stakeholder management. You will utilise your high-level technical skills alongside your industry knowledge to drive key commercial business decision making as the business continues to grow from strength to strength.
Key Duties include:
- Identify, implement and test various changes to the performance system to meet changing business requirements.
- Identify and manage various risks across the investment team, with a holistic focus on mitigating risks and ensuring overall quality.
- Development of high-level financial models which are scalable.
- Analysis of financial matters for relevant business units, assisting the business units with decision making.
- Effectively manage various stakeholder relationships (internal & external) to ensure deliverables are met & business needs are understood.
- Take the lead on organising workflows and processes.
- Identify and develop new risk mitigation & management strategies.

The ideal background/skillset required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Mathematics (essential).
- CFA and or CIPM qualifications (essential).
- Minimum 10 years experience in Investment Performance analytics.
- Eagle performance system experience (highly regarded).
- See the “big picture” and understand business drivers.
- Advanced financial modelling / analysis sills.
- A strong communicator with robust stakeholder engagement skills.
- Salary package of $210,000 (including superannuation).
- Brisbane head office role with Global exposure.
