The AODS and Specialist Teams at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Senior Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (Senior Social Worker or Senior Psychologist or Senior Occupational Therapist or Clinical Nurse Consultant) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Perinatal Mental Health Clinician is a Senior Social Worker or Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Clinical Nurse Consultant who demonstrates high-level knowledge and expertise in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care at an advanced level.
The Perinatal Mental Health Clinician is expected to demonstrate an advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice and decision making in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This specialist role will work across the Mackay Mental Health, Alcohol & other Drugs division, leveraging both internal and external partnerships to work collaboratively in providing a pathway of care for women who require specialised Perinatal Mental Health care.
The Perinatal Mental Health Clinician will report organisationally to the Team Leader of the Specialist Team.
About the Team
The Alcohol and Other Drugs and Specialists Team works individually and in group settings to provide ongoing Mental Health interventions. The team consists of: Early Psychosis Team, Older Persons Mental Health, Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services.
