This role will lead and manage the ordering, coordination, and communication with the contracted external community pharmacy for Pharmaceutical Dose Administration Aids (PDAAP) across Townsville Correctional Centre under the direction of a registered pharmacist.This position will assist with the supply, ordering and dispensing of Opioid Substitution treatment medication for Townsville Correctional Centre.The role will be underpinned by the Reducing Barriers to Health and Wellbeing: The Queensland Prison Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2020-2025 and will support efforts to:
- Coordinate patient-centred care
- Create partnerships
- Improve patient outcomes
- Facilitate systems improvement
- Salary rates between $2831.10 - $3027.20 p.f. (CA4)
- Annual leave loading + leave

- Desirable: Successful completion of Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (HLT47115) or equivalent, including the ‘Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest Stock' Module (HLTPA001) is required for this position to be employed at CA4 level. Temporary employment at CA2 or CA3 may be considered to enable completion of the required education.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Queensland Corrective Services Criminal History Check: Applicants are advised that this position works in a Queensland Corrective Services facility and requires employees and volunteers to have a current Queensland Corrective Services criminal history clearance as per the Corrective Services Act 2006.
