Job description

About the role

  • The purpose of this role within the Hospital in the Home (HITH) Service is to apply high level physiotherapy skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of patients in the local population to promote, maintain and improve their health, functional ability, and quality of life.
  • This role will be required to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays, with an annual leave entitlement of 5 weeks. The roster is non-cyclic.

  • Leadership / work unit management - actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality improvement and research activities to enhance the delivery of physiotherapy services and multidisciplinary care.

Experience and skills in clinical practice supervision, education and mentoring to less experienced physiotherapy practitioners and students.
