About your role
UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are on the search for an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to join our supportive team, based at our facility in Bassendean.
Reporting to the Site Manager, the role of Senior Planner/Scheduler role will be responsible for establishing a master production schedule for the site and streamlining existing planning processes and the use of mobility.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Generating and maintaining a site wide Master production schedule activity, forecasting & capturing all projects
- Providing schedules to workshop teams outlining daily, weekly and monthly schedules with resource loading and planning
- Preparation of long term schedules based on customer forecasts to allow efficient labour planning
- Producing labour requirements / targets for the cost effective execution of the projects
- Collaborating and supporting Business Development team and Site Manager to ensure workshop availability is understood and there is no over commitment made to customers with new work streams
About you
You will have experience in a manufacturing/maintenance or service provider Planning role or Scheduling experience in a Project Management Office (PMO), with high levels of governance.
Other skills & experience required include:
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate engineering or project management discipline will be advantageous
- Cost control and schedule preparation experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional, responsive, insightful and decision making skills
- A high level of business and commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Proficient skills with Primavera P6 or similar program
- Strong MS Office skills - Word & Excel
- Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven
