Job description

This position will be a key statutory/strategic planning role with good opportunity for growth for a dedicated, hard-working team player.

Salary

An annual salary package will be offered commensurate with qualifications and experience.  As a guide, we are proposing a salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 plus superannuation

The salary package will also include the provision of a car parking space and payment of mobile phone expenses.

The Role

The Town Planner/Senior Town Planner performs a key role within the company by working collaboratively with our Director and team to meet client and company objectives.

The Town Planner/Senior Town Planner reports to our Director and will:

  • provide professional, efficient and courteous town planning services to our Clients
  • provide high level, quality planning support to the Director and planning team
  • be self-motivated, strive to work efficiently and diligently, to demonstrate time and workload management, to show initiative and to provide exceptional levels of communication with all staff, colleagues, consultants and clients
  • be expected to provide mid level planning support by liaising and meeting with planners of the Department of Planning, Local Government Authorities and other agencies as required, together with supporting our Director on State Administrative Tribunal matters

Advantages

  • A minimum of 5 years town planning experience in Perth, WA
  • Private consulting experience
  • An understanding of the work ethic required for this role in a boutique planning practice

  • A Western Australian driver’s license (Class C – Car)
  • The ability to work full time (this is not a part-time position)
