ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking Senior Planning Analyst to join our close-knit team in Blackburn on a permanent full time basis. You will play a crucial role in managing the annual budget process and quarterly forecasts.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the development of budget, forecast, and long-range plan assumptions to ensure they support and adhere to TSA policies and national funding principles.
- Support the development of long-term capital plan and provide continuous reporting on its progress.
- Aid in the design and migration of existing budget and forecast models to the new/upgraded Finance Systems Platform.
- Collaborate with relevant programs/departments to develop robust financial models and underlying assumptions driving the annual budget, quarterly revised forecasts, and long-range plan.
- Deliver key financial management information and data reports for key stakeholders to support operational decision-making.
- Liaise with and support the performance reporting team, as needed, on analytics of actual monthly and quarterly financial results compared to budgets, revised forecasts, and long-range plans.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in a financial accounting and analysis, role at an operational level. Your stakeholder management skills would play an imperative role as you would be collaborating with various stakeholders across the portfolio and within finance function.
- Bachelor and post graduate degree (eg. CPA or CA) in a relevant field such as Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and be a team contributor.
- Experience with TechOne and BI tools such as PowerBI, is preferred.
