Senior Agile Operations Analyst

Our people come from a wide range of professions with diverse skills and experience driving the success of ESV.About the opportunityWe have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Agile Operations Analyst to be responsible for Scrum Master activities and drive efficiency and effectiveness within Agile teams and processes across Energy Safe Victoria.You will contribute by:

• Responsible for Azure DevOps(ADO) administration that includes configuring and maintaining ADO to support Agile ways of working.
• Utilise ADO to manage project backlog, prioritise user stories and track progress across sprints.
• Ensure that the change delivery model is closely aligned with Energy Safe's change portfolio to maximize benefits realization.
• Ensure that all projects are consistent in following best practices and workflows configured in ADO.
• Act as the practice lead for Agile processes, guiding and influencing other Scrum Masters and Agile teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, showcases and retrospectives.
• Prioritise and manage product backlog, working closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Manage project scope, ensuring the Agile teams deliver high quality work within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
• Support the Business Improvement Manager and the Portfolio Management Officer in facilitating Program Increment Planning.
• Leverage ADO reporting capabilities to track key Agile metrics such as sprint burndown, velocity, cumulative flow and team performance.
• Provide training, guidance and support to teams and stakeholders on using ADO effectively for Agile project management.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, technology, engineering, or similar discipline.
• Significant experience in a similar role with experience across technology and business channels preferably in a regulatory setting.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to implement them effectively.
• Proficient in using Azure DevOps for project Management, including setting up and managing boards, backlogs, pipelines and repositories.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring Scrum teams to improve their Agile practices.
• Strong understanding of Software development lifecycle and experience working closely with development and QA teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organisation, with the ability to drive and influence the technology agenda in a non-technical manner.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and make effective, sound decisions.
• Skilled and experienced in managing priorities between customer needs, team velocity, user experience, and internal stakeholder requirements.
• Highly developed organisational, planning and coordination skills.
