AddressWe are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join one of our projects and take ownership on ELK platform: design, implement, and maintain the ELK stack infrastructure, ensuring its availability, scalability, and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Install/Provision new Elastic Search Cluster using Terraform/Ansible
- Provide platform support activities:
- Monitor and provide support for incidents
- Manage capacity as needed
- Support existing IAC automation for cluster management, including usage-based chargebacks
- Maintain platform documentation and SOPs
- Enhance and upkeep on-boarding automation scripts
- Manage various configurations, including limits and configs on different layers
- Support application teams:
- Set up Watchers and Kibana Rules
- Maintain Logstash pipelines and guide the team in APM usage
- Resolve issues with Kibana
- Enable data retrieval for app teams as per requests
- Onboard new organizations and maintain well-documented guidelines for app dev teams
- Support platform enhancements:
- Implement new features
- Implement and enhance automation scripts and processes
- Experience with:
- Elastic-stack
- Terraform, Ansible, and other similar tools
- HELM Kubernetes, Docker
- Cloud AWS/GCP (including networking, compute, storage, IAM, etc.)
- Jenkins pipelines, groovy
- Experience in Linux administration and with scripting languages
