Job ProfileReporting to the Director Commercial Operations, the Lotteries Player Safety Lead is responsible for the design, review and evaluation of activities relating to the effectiveness and efficiency of Lotterywest’s Harm Minimisation Framework and Player Safety programs of work. This role liaises with various stakeholders to provide information, advice and development of high level policies and projects requiring complex research and analysis, to advance the work aligned with the Lotterywest Strategic Plan.Mandatory / special role requirements
  • Police Clearance
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline including harm minimisation, public health, psychology, research, behavioural science/behavioural change and/or 5 years + experience in a similar role.
Essential Selection Criteria * Demonstrated high level experience designing, coordinating and delivering qualitative and/or quantitative research, analysis, benchmarking, and performance monitoring to provide direction at a strategic level
  • Demonstrated high level experience in program/project management from planning, design, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Demonstrated experience in translating research, data and insights into clear, pragmatic and actionable recommendations and advice that influences business decision-making on complex strategy matters, operational processes and organisational policy
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, managing and/or implementing social research, social impact projects and/or behaviour change programmes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external customers, business partners and stakeholders
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to present in a clear, concise, and articulate manner
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with the ability to navigate competing business priorities and stakeholder requirements.
  • High level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve problems of a complex nature
