Special Counsel, 8-10 years' of experience

Kennedy is looking for a Special Counsel to join our Sydney office to meet the needs of our growing practice. Working alongside our Sydney Partners, you will be exposed to a variety of insurance matters such as complex liability and injury matters.The team consists of 2 specialist Partners, 3 Senior Associates and 7 Associates. The nature and size of the team will mean that you will be heavily involved in all aspects of matters allowing you to make a significant contribution to their outcome.Cases

• High-value personal injury claims.
• Defective premises/Property damage
• Product/Public liability
• Both pre-litigation and litigated files.

Required experience

• 8 - 10 years' post admission experience in insurance matters
• Strong knowledge and experience in litigation and insurance law, including personal injury and public liability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are adaptable to the audience
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields.
• Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
• Experience in managing a team of legal professionals
