Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Podiatrist to provide advanced clinical services, leadership and support as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
Coordinating the interdisciplinary High Risk Foot Service providing quality specialised clinical services to a diverse and complex caseload involving clients with high-risk feet. Liaising with medical, surgical, allied health and nursing staff to support safety and quality of care with a focus on rapid access, triage and escalation to the relevant clinician, team or service.
If you have:

• Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent and eligible for membership of The Australian Podiatry Association prior to commencing and registration as a Podiatrist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). To be appointed as a Level 4 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience and demonstrated experience of extensive specialist knowledge or a high level of broad generalist knowledge within the discipline as defined by the award definitions of a level 4 practitioner
• Ability to apply advanced clinical reasoning and ability to apply professional judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks
• Clinical knowledge and post-graduate experience in the management of high-Risk Foot pathology (including ulceration, infection, neuro-arthropathy, and post-amputation management) with capacity to apply knowledge to complex patients and circumstances using independent judgement
• Leadership to utilise problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
