The role:
An opportunity is available for an experienced Podiatrist to join the Hospital@Home multidisciplinary team. The Hospital@Home service is for public and private patients of Southern Tasmania, it provides hospital avoidance interventions and both acute and sub-acute care for adults in the community setting.  The service operates across multiple sites throughout Southern Tasmania.
The service enables existing services such as Community Rapid Response (ComRRS), Allied Health Rapid Response Team (AHRRT) and Hospital in the Home (HITH) alongside a new Geriatric Evaluation Management model to be integrated under the umbrella of a centralised hub promoting cohesive and seamless interdisciplinary care delivery for patients in the community.

The team:
The Podiatry South team is based in the Hobart CBD, with outpatient clinics located closely to the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).  
The inpatient podiatry team delivers services to the RHH and Repat Hospital and works closely with medical, nursing and other allied health teams.
There are 22 Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants working across 3 main service streams of inpatients, outpatient and community, and there is a place for you in our team to grow, develop and belong.
Details of Appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary:
$106,966 - $123,013 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum 
Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
5 years clinical podiatry experience or demonstrated ability to work in a senior position.
Current Driver’s Licence
Holds or working towards post graduate studies
