Remuneration Negotiable + 11% Super

The Opportunity
A new exciting opportunity has arisen, reporting to the Manager, Capital Delivery, this role manages an important part of Council's Portfolio Capital Delivery Program.
Communicating effectively with project sponsors, owners, engineering teams, and construction partners. By fostering accountability and instilling a culture of excellence, the role ensures the delivery of projects to an exemplary standard, resulting in high-quality outcomes that that demonstrate community benefit.
Key Responsibilities

  • Implement effective project planning, tracking and reporting mechanisms to meet the needs of corporate reporting requirements.
  • Lead feasibility studies, master planning, schematic and concept design, design development, tender documentation, procurement and reporting under Council’s Project Management Framework.
  • Manage and oversee the development and implementation of all operational aspects of the role, such as work plans, performance plans, budgets and project plans.
  • Effective project planning, tracking and reporting mechanisms to meet the needs of corporate reporting requirements.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
  • Tertiary qualification with the necessary skills and knowledge gained in project management, urban design, town planning, recreational planning, engineering or a relevant discipline with significant and diverse experience in both operational areas and leadership.
  • Substantial experience in project management, including the planning and delivery of capital projects.
  • Extensive experience in leading and developing teams, strategies and other key documents, programs and budgets.
  • Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
