We value working collaboratively with our internal & external customers to improve service delivery.About Your OpportunityAs a Senior Portfolio Management Officer, you will be responsible for the oversight, administration, and optimization of our Portfolio Management system (Planisware). You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of portfolio data, supporting system users, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality and usability.Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for delivery group project management office team members to address escalated complex project management and system issues by providing support, guidance and resolution efficiently and effectively and determining if resolution requires external vendor assistance.
- Facilitate capability uplift for project managers and key internal stakeholders, including Executive Leadership team, through user workshops and training sessions in the delivery of project management and effective utilisation of the Portfolio Management system.
- Manage portfolio data within the system ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency particularly when updating controlled project attributes and creating new projects in system.
- Manage Portfolio wide data updates such as financial data and ensure costs are reconciled with the Finance system.
- Provide project control support and financial mentoring for delivery groups without a dedicated project management office. (e.g. Facilities and Scientific Services)
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, or anomalies and enforce governance policies and standards to maintain data integrity.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, or other relevant disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of three years of experience working in a Portfolio, Project Management or Project Controls role.
- Demonstrated experience in project reporting and using project management tools or systems.
