What this opportunity involves.
The Senior Portfolio Finance Manger will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate and insightful financial reports, analysing financial data, and providing enhanced automated and ad hoc reporting and analytics for a high-profile client account.
This critical role will work closely with the National Finance Manager, finance teams and the Reporting and Funds Finance team to drive value for our client.
The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
Some of the key responsibilities include.
- Reporting. Collaborate with property management teams to collect and validate financial data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information reported. Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly management reports for the office and industrial portfolios adhering to agreed timelines. Maintain a comprehensive leasing file for the client by extracting system data and combining it with the necessary manual inputs from JLL teams.
- Analytics. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, key drivers, potential risks and opportunities for maximising property financial performance. Provide strategic guidance and recommendation to drive efficiency measures.
- Optimisation. Collaborate with client and segment leads to enhance automated reporting platforms for the office and industrial portfolios. Implement streamlined financial reporting processes and leverage technology tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Training and support. Provide support in coordinating an annual training and induction program to ensure we maintain a consistent approach in the delivery of financial reporting and update documentation, manuals, user guides and training materials as necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. MBA or advanced certification (CFA, CPA) is desirable.
You have proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably within property management/ real estate, with a demonstrated ability to lead projects, whilst managing priorities and working within deadlines.
Superior interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills will be essential, and you can liaise comfortably with people at all levels.
Also important is advanced to expert MS365 suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerApps with proficiency in utilising financial systems and technology.
