Senior Principal Process Technology Engineer

Your Role

The Process Engineering function at CSL Behring is recruiting for a Senior Principal Process Technology Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Broadmeadows site.

You will apply fundamental engineering knowledge for the design and implementation of new Process Technology as part of our high priority expansion projects.

You will work with local and global counterparts spanning three continents and functions as diverse as Manufacturing, Operational Analytics, Engineering, Quality, Technical Transfer, Validation, Research & Development and Regulatory Affairs.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Associate Director, Process Technology Site Lead, you will:

• Lead a multidisciplinary project team of Subject Matter Experts
• Identify Process Engineering solutions and convert these into Design solutions
• Develop and implement upscale Strategy in collaboration with R&D
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, as well as cross-functionally, to implement Process Engineering solutions and execute these solutions
• Assure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements during all activities
• Champion a culture of inclusiveness and teamwork, understanding the strengths of individual team members to drive efficiency gains of the team
• Providing accountability to and influencing stakeholders towards enterprise outcomes
• Embrace conversations needed to deliver enterprise value and build constructive and effective relationships in cross-functional, multicultural, and international teams

Your Experience

• At least 7+ years’ experience in Process Engineering within a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation or in a pharmaceutical operation
• Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
• Excellent engineering problem-solving skills to drive efficient engineering solutions
• Experience with complex processes and technologies like chromatography
• Understanding of project management principles
• Knowledge of Validation, and facility regulatory submission requirements
• Direct experience with regulated environments (i.e., cGMP)
