Two divisions - Santos Energy Solutions and Santos Upstream Gas and Liquids - are accountable for global portfolio management and strategy.About the RoleThe Senior Process Engineer applies their comprehensive skill set and industry knowledge to drive the successful implementation and delivery of targeted tasks to assure safe & reliable operation for GLNG Midstream Assets: GLNG Curtis Island, GTP, CRWP, RUGS, and associated pipeline facilities.With a focus on actioning base business items, they uphold Santos' core values while adhering meticulously to Engineering Standards and the Santos Management System. The overarching objective is to contribute to the company's growth trajectory by fostering operational efficiency and excellence across all endeavours.Key accountabilities include:
- Work closely & collaboratively with Maintenance & Operations Leaders to ensure production are met.
- Provide 'Fast Loop' and 'Slow Loop' Process, Process Control and Operations Engineering support/services to the asset team.
- Actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies (FFV reduction, cost out, margin improvement and emissions reductions).
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
- Risk Management and Reduction
- Uphold compliance and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behaviour consistent with Company policies and procedures
- Mentor and help develop less experienced Engineers
- Develop, implement, analyse & optimise Surveillance Management Plans
- Perform technical investigations and recommend improvements.
- Ensure discipline guidance for fit-for-purpose design including:
- Extensive chemical/Process Engineering experience in a process plant, preferably in the Energy industry.:
- Providing indirect leadership of other engineers, trades persons &/or operators.
- Scope development for equipment management programs and inspections
- CPEng and RPEQ certification
- A solid understanding of process safety and engineering design practices.
