The Senior Process Specialist, Accounts Payable’s mission is to ensure that they support both the Process Specialist and Accounts Payable Team Lead/Manager in their assigned areas. This includes, but is not limited to, coaching of staff, reporting as well as process compliance and improvements. The Senior Process Specialist, Accounts Payable is to ensure that the relationships between Business Partners and vendors are built upon and improved and not jeopardized in any way.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all Accounts Payable and Intercompany processes to ensure that both NEOM DSV JV SSC and business is compliant.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Reduce the risk of Out of Period costs.
- Ensure all vendors are paid as per agreed payment terms.
- Accurate and on time month end reporting.
- Ensure NEOM DSV JV SSC and all business units/countries are compliant with all local and global policies.
- Accurate Cash Forecasting and monitoring of payments to ensure daily forecast is not exceeded.
- Ensure all costs are posted prior to month end.
- Monitor debit items and ensure these are cleared prior to month end.
- Ensure manual/urgent payments are done within the agreed timeframes and all payments are compliant with the policy.
- Ensure vendor records are always correct and up to date (Master Data Maintenance).
- Review and ensure all AP ageing is clean (no aged transactions).
- Review all Intercompany disputes and ensure resolved as per Intercompany Rules.
- Ensure SAP Hierarchy is reviewed and updated as required.
- Ensure all WebCost Admin tasks are performed timeously and accurately.
- Provide supporting documentation and any other reports required for Audit purposes.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis of any errors that occur or problem areas.
- Drive cost efficiency within the department and for business.
- Acquire knowledge and understanding of the NEOM DSV JV Accounting Manual and Policy guidelines.
- Meetings with vendors and/or business units when required.
- Support for all Process Specialists in the AP Department.
- Escalate queries or areas of concerns where needed
- Training and coaching of staff.
- Supports the Team Lead, Accounts Payable and Manager, Accounts Payable in tasks which will require performance management of staff.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by immediate supervisor or management.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Minimum of 3 years people management skills
- Financial Qualification (diploma, degree) and/or
- 3 years’ experience within an Accounts Payable (creditors) function and/or
- 3 years’ experience in an operation finance role
- Experienced with reporting and operating systems (SAP is an asset)
- Experience working in supply chain and logistics is beneficial.
Competencies
- Medium to advanced PC knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- SAP knowledge is a strong asset.
- Ability to work in a diverse team as well as be self-driven.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and good analytical skills.
- Be able to work well under pressure and deliver on deadlines.
- Possess good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Self-starter who will use own initiative.
- Controls and process focused.
- Must have strong financial acumen.
- The ability to explain transactions using T-Accounts
- Understand and explain accounting principles and concepts.
- Solid vendor accounts reconciliation skills on large volumes and values.
- Strong coaching skills.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
