The Role

Conduct Project Performance and earnedvalue management activities for Luerssen Australia to ensure that the project'sobjectives are met in terms of integrated Schedule and Cost Control andparticipate in tracking and reporting the project's deliverables and targets.

Contributeto continuous improvements on the integrated project controls processes andsystems in a manner that supports Luerssen Australia's internal requirements aswell as those of their contracts.

Responsibilities

• Maintainingthe Earned Value Management System for the project

• Assistand contribute to promote an EVM culture within the project team.
• Preparationof Monthly Performance and Earned Value Reports for internal review.
• AssistCAMs of allocated Control Accounts with monthly monitoring, analysis andreporting of actuals and forecast cost (EAC).
• MaintainingProject Performance change control (Baseline Change Management).
• PerformEVM month end in Cobra.
• Performvariance analysis process and identify Project Performance issues and trends.
• Maintain andundertake Sub-Contractorreconciliation.

Requirements

• RelevantTertiary qualifications in Project Management (Desired), Finance or Accounting

• Certificationin EVM (Desired)
• Soundunderstanding of project cost management principles, tools and techniques.
• 3+years of experience in project cost and performance management
• 1+year in Earned Value Management or project cost/schedule analysis role
• Priorexperience in Defence projects (Desired)
• Cobraexperience desirable
• Excellentcommunication and organisational skills
• Exposureto project accounting software like Cobra or similar
• Experienceof using EVM in Planning packages such as Open Plan, Primavera (Desired)
• AdvancedMS Excel skills and conversant with other Microsoft Office Applications
• Excellentanalytical skills
• Demonstratedproblem solving abilities
