A super exciting opportunity has arisen for a “Senior Procurement Business Partner” on a part-time basis . This is a newly created position to join our global business in either location in Sydney or Melbourne! If you are someone looking for a position that allows to have the ongoing flexibility working 20 hours across Monday to Friday, work from home or run errands in the morning and afternoon then this is the position for YOU!
This role is not your run-of-the-mill procurement role but a commercial role focusing on effective internal and external supplier relationship management and cost reduction. You will be working close with the Procurement Manager in NZ.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a procurement strategy across SCOTT AU.
- Ensure that goods and services required by the business are of high quality, best pricing and in time of customer satisfaction.
- Aligning procurement/purchasing activities are in-line with company’s objectives.
- Reduce expenses to increase profitability margins.
- Review systems and processes to ensure best practices and business practices are in effectively running.
- Provide guidance and development opportunities to the purchasing team, improvement procurement capability and professionalism.
About you:
- 5 years’ experience or more in a Senior Procurement role.
- Experience providing focus and strategic direction.
- Commercial acumen experience working with frameworks/strategies for multi-site project engineering and/or manufacturing industries.
- Exceptional relationship management, and communication skills including business writing with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven demonstrative experience in continuous improvement approach.
- Ability to influence Senior leaders internally and extern supplier organisations.
