The role:
We're looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Snowy 2.0 team, based in Cooma, NSW. This position is responsible for supporting the Snowy Hydro Procurement Lead through the effective support & management of procurement programs and provides oversight and governance to the Contractor's procurement activities.
The position contributes to the broader procurement activities by supporting continuous improvement, data tracking & management and information lifecycle management. You will also develop and manage key documents necessary for the execution tenders such as relevant supporting contracts, tender packs, evaluation tools and records of key supplier communications.
We are looking for:
Minimum of 8 years experience within procurement, contract management, commercial, engineering or project management.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in capital procurement and procurement support, with a strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain drivers.
Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiating skills that enable strong relationships to be established.
Strong communications/report writing skills with experience in contract administration.
A self-starter who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
