JOB PURPOSE:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer with a holistic understanding of how digital products are conceived, built and scaled. Someone who does their best work at the intersection of people, business and technology. As a key member of our design team, you will lead projects from concept to execution, collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design how products function, look, feel and evolve.
This role can swiftly shift gears and work at different altitudes. Some days, you will be on the front lines collaborating with clients to define the product strategy; other times, you will have to fine-tune interfaces — all to create inspiring products that customers will love.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead the end-to-end design process for a variety of digital products, including web applications, mobile applications, spatial platforms, and other digital experiences.
- Collaborate closely with clients, product managers, and development teams to define project requirements and user needs.
- Research the problem space, market fit and usability.
- Translate user research findings and insights into actionable design solutions that effectively address user pain points and enhance user experiences.
- Develop comprehensive wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and functionality to stakeholders.
- Create or apply branding, typography, and visual design elements to establish a cohesive and compelling visual identity for digital products.
- Strategic execution – aligning design with business goals, defining product strategy, and driving innovation for impactful digital products.
- Continuously improve ways of working by testing new frameworks, methodologies and tools to elevate design practice
SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in design/development/collaboration tools – including Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Miro, Confluence/Jira (or equivalent software).
- Experience in successfully guiding projects & clients/stakeholders from conceptualisation to product release – overseeing every stage of the process to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both clients and internal development teams.
- Ability to lead business development (BD), sales, and pitching initiatives demonstrating a proactive approach to driving growth and opportunities for companies.
- Previous experience in digital agency or consulting environments
- Understanding of development and engineering practices, including familiarity with various methods of software development, development platforms, environments, and infrastructure
