Requirements to apply for this role
- Technical Proficiency:
5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably with B2B SaaS product experience. Proficiency in Figma with strong visual, UI, and interaction skills.
- End-to-End Leadership:
Previous experience in a leading role throughout the end-to-end product process, including insights discovery, validation through mockups, prototypes, and user testing.
- Design Portfolio:
A portfolio showcasing product design and design systems work, demonstrating how the candidate's work solves real user problems.
- Communication Skills:
Exceptional communication skills with cross-departmental teammates and the ability to articulate ideas through writing to create alignment.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Designer at Our client, the candidate will be hands-on throughout the end-to-end design process, covering strategy, research, testing, and visual and interaction design. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams, the candidate will address real problems faced by Our client's customers and users.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Problem and Opportunity Research: Conducting research to bring clarity and insight to user challenges and design solutions.
2. Hands-On Design Leadership: Playing a hands-on leadership role in the design process for new products, features, and iterations, from low-fidelity proposals to well-informed designs ready for implementation.
3. Design System Evolution: Managing and leading the evolution of Our client's design system.
4. Evangelising Design: Advocating for design across the organisation and assisting other designers in improving their craft.
