The Team: Bankwest Consumer Credit (Credit Cards and Personal Loans) is responsible for, and oversee, all product management, pricing decisions and product delivery across Bankwest. We use key customer insights to assist the design, build, and marketing of products that meet the needs of our retail target customer segments.
Consumer Credit products is accountable for delivering and maintaining the Bankwest product portfolio ensuring we achieve sustainable growth, with products built around customer need. The team champions the customer experience, and consists of strong product delivery specialists, analytical & strategic capability, pricing leadership and product/process experts.
Do work that matters:
You will provide strategic leadership and hold end-to-end accountability for the Bankwest Credit Cards portfolio; including optimising the reporting, analytics and insights, developing product strategy, managing issues and risks, leading regulatory and strategic projects and ensuring targets for customer advocacy and business performance are achieved. This role contributes to Bankwest’s Vision and Strategy of Sustainable Growth.
On any given day you will:

• Work on strategic and regulatory projects to deliver better customer experiences across the credit card portfolio
• Manage effective working relationships with multiple teams across the Bank divisions, and lead Product Analysts to deliver business outcomes
• Provide oversight on a suite of product and portfolio level reporting, to deliver insights and meet product governance and regulatory requirements
• Champion the voice of the customer, be across and pre-empt impact of macro, micro and product landscapes that impact the Credit Card business
• Analyse of end-to-end financial performance of business and/or individual products, with the ability to drill down into specific areas
• Hold accountability for key processes in the end-to-end value chain for credit cards and complete reviews and remediation as required across any process inefficiencies
• Take responsibility for the management of credit card related risk issues and incidents in ensuring the root cause is identified and an appropriate solution is identified and delivered

We're interested in hearing from people who possess a combination of the below:

• Senior management experience developing and executing complex strategy plans at an organisational level
• Proven success in leading change initiatives to completion
• Demonstrated strong commercial acumen and a desire to base decisions on data and business value
• Collaborative leadership experience, with an ability to influence and relate to colleagues at all levels
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Proven people leadership and Project Management experience through directly managing a team
• Well-developed numerical and analytical skills with an analytical approach to problem resolution
• Ability to extract and interpret financial data to ensure product profitability
