Senior Product Manager - Commercial Lending

Business Lending (BL) is a product and specialised sales team that offers working capital, business loans, asset finance, corporate finance, and property finance to our customers. It also has responsibility for Line 1 risk and controls for these products. BL is directly responsible for product management, process management, portfolio and pricing management. It also works closely with bankers, data and analytics, digital and customer experience teams.
Do work that matters
As part of the CommSee Commercial Lending (CCL) Squad, within the Term Loans Crew, you will be involved in leading key strategic initiatives that transform the CCL user experience, drive continuous improvement and risk buy-down. You will work closely with the Product Owner and squad to deliver CCL functionality and experience via minor enhancements as well as significant strategic transformation and change delivery.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and champion the E2E CCL journey for Business Lending, incorporating a strong customer focus into initiatives
• Proactively undertake diagnostic CCL deep dives to identify, design and implement key transformation supported by business, customer and operational data.
• Deliver strategic projects to meet genuine end-user needs and support the product roadmap.
• Deliver changes quickly and safely to frontline and customers, including planning and leading the promotional efforts for new or enhanced features.
• Monitor business results of recently introduced changes and recommend modifications in product features and marketing approaches to improve results.
• Work effectively across the Crew and engage with all areas across the business as both an SME and approval point for all changes.
• Proactively identify, assess and manage associated risks in the design and delivery of change.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment including juggling a number of changing priorities.

We want to hear from you if you have

• Experienced Product Manager at a senior level in financial services and with proven all-round product management skills
• Demonstrated experience in project management or project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technical changes to a system , or using the CommSee Commercial Lending (CCL) system (desirable)
• An understanding of Commercial Lending is beneficial
• Demonstrated experience in technical/platform delivery.
• Experience leading work in an agile environment.
• Experience in streamlining processes and delivering process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of key lending and risk principles and concepts.
• Demonstrated successful change agent with bias to challenge status quo.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• A passion for delivering great outcomes for our customers.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver updates to leadership and governance forums.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities. Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
• Tenacity, resilience, ability to deal with multiple changing priorities
