Senior Professional Engineer Avionics

• Manage avionics aspects of our A380/A330 fleet

In your new role as a Senior Avionics Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the identification and prioritisation of fleet issues, root cause analysis and development of corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in safety, operational performance and efficiency of aircraft avionic systems and components. You will draw on your effective communication and problem-solving skills to work with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve issues that will maximise the commercial and operational benefits to the Qantas Group.
You’ll have –

• Degree qualifications in Engineering (Avionics, Electrical or related Degree).
• Familiarity with Civil Aviation and Safety Regulations.
• Sound organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and drive to get the job done.
• Sound communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels within Qantas and outside organisations.
• Self-motivated with a strong team spirit.
