The AO6 Senior Program Officer will manage projects related to the revocation, dedication and declaration of protected areas and State forests, land administration, and aid in the development of plans and other geographical information. This position will be required to work seamlessly with team members and other stakeholders to ensure program outcomes are delivered in a timely manner. The focus of the Tenure Services team is to enhance protection of Queensland's biodiversity through the dedication and declaration of land as a protected area or forestry tenure, and to facilitate the revocation of protected areas and State forests. The team also oversees compliance with operational policy, procedures and governance arrangements to ensure quality services are delivered to stakeholders and partners.
