The PMO team brings together our investment spend across the business to understand our spend, delivery milestones, dependencies, and benefits that we are delivering to transform our business. The PMO team is growing to establish greater velocity and transparency in ensuring that we are deliver on our mission in the most efficient and impactful way to improve the experience for our customers and colleagues.
Do work that matters
As Executive Manager Value Realisation, PMO you will leading the organisation on how we track, keep accountability and ensure that the benefits defined in our roadmap by our crews and squads in our agile ways of working are fully realised.
This role is a crucial stream of work along other parts of the PMO team that work together to understand the cost profile and workforce planning components to have a world class PMO function. You will be working closely with crew leads across the organisation to assist with benefits quantification, developing KPIs for progress tracking, and defining the 'definition of done'.
You will also be working with support units such as finance, strategy, data and analytics to own value / benefits realisation roadmap within the Bankwest strategic planning process including the 3-year strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan.
This role will report to the General Manager of Strategy at Bankwest and will have a high level of engagement with senior members of the leadership team to ensure we are working together to deliver on our shared objectives on an agreed timeline, and transparency of marrying up investment spend with benefit realisation.
This role is a 6 month fixed term contract, ideally based in Perth Australia - but open to candidates based elsewhere in Australia that are open to frequent travel to Perth.
This includes focusing on:
Developing robust benefits or value to be released over time to improve performance, customer experience or operations Driving clear accountability and transparency on performance against the benefits/value to be realised against our investment Board and Executive reporting Coordinating the value/benefits stream of work within the PMO function Instilling a high performance and benefit realisation culture About You You have prior experience in agile delivery and PMO / Transformation Office functions You are self-driven and tenacious with strong stakeholder engagement & communication skills You are curious and humble You have demonstrated experience in consolidating complex information into coherent narrative for varied audiences You have experience simplifying technology concepts and activities into plain-English You have proven experience motivating staff, engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and driving efficiency through productivity based disciplines You are confident with polished communication skills You have a risk mindset - proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks Working with us: Whether you're passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with Bankwest is for you.
