The Senior Program Officer (Training and Workforce Development) role will work collaboratively across government, the education and training sector and industry to establish relationships and develop initiatives and put in place agreements that ensure successful delivery of outcomes. It will take responsibility for planning, overseeing and delivering initiatives and providing informed advice and action on governance, program monitoring and delivery, project management and reporting in areas of responsibility.
The incumbent will use their significant industry knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Government's jobs and training landscape, to ensure that Solar Victoria can deliver on its comprehensive training and jobs commitments.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- A strong background in the TAFE and state government training landscape, including demonstrated experience leading the identification and development of training and industry development activities.
- High level program management skills and significant experience in designing and delivering projects and programs of work
- High level influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
