Cloncurry is known as the friendly heart of the outback. With frequent direct flights to Townsville and Brisbane, it is located 120km from the next largest town of Mt Isa.
There are two schools available, Cloncurry State School (Prep - Grade 12) and St Joseph's Catholic School (Prep - Grade 9), and there are also Daycare and Kindergarten facilities in town.
In the role you will lead a small, yet supportive administration and governance team and be responsible for:
* Overseeing the information management and administrative support services provided in the district, including facilities management, vehicle fleet management, and business travel.
* Providing access and system training to users/operators in the usage of DMS.
* Monitoring usage of systems within work area.
* Responding and completing recordkeeping audits.
* Leading and coaching Program Support staff, ensuring appropriate skill sets and training needs are identified and developed.
* Planning, coordinating, and conducting audits of operational systems used to ensure compliance with standards.
* Providing advice to suppliers and contractors to assist their compliance with the Department's accredited operational systems and undertake a program of compliance audits.
* Managing the district's program of Control Self Assessments.
This position reports to the Manager (Program Support) and you will have 5 direct reports.

* Salary $98,617 to $107,187 with employer superannuation contributions up to 12.75%
* 5 weeks annual leave with annual leave loading of 17.5%

Mandatory requirements:
* Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
* A 'C' Class driver licence.
