Medcast was founded in 2013 and provides innovative education to health professionals and services to organisations with the aim of improving the standard of healthcare across Australia. Their education offering includes online and face-to-face solutions for continuing professional development and mandatory training across the health sector. Medcast also works with government, universities, and other organisations to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate educational interventions for health professionals. This role will play an integral part in these projects and grants.
Reporting to the Director of Partners & Projects, we seek to appoint a skilled Senior Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate the following;
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in the healthcare, university, research and or education sectors.
- Expertise and experience with new technologies and concepts of health care.
- Demonstrated experience in project execution, including communicating the deliverables across a broad stakeholder group.
- Planning, setting, and adjusting priorities and resourcing to coordinate work programs in an environment that requires agile thinking, high attention to detail and sound problem-solving skills.
- A high degree of quality and compliance focus around customised client reporting outcomes.
- Commercial acumen and ability to analyse risk, costs and benefits of projects and programs.
- Familiarity with innovation processes, methods, tools, templates and outputs.
- Understanding of healthcare and education technology ecosystem and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills at both strategic and operational levels, including working within collaborative teams, negotiating, and influencing key stakeholders.
- Exposure to Government grants is desirable.
