Cape are seeking applications from experienced Project Engineers with NBN, Fiber or Utilities experience to join our team on this unique scope of works, which is based in Geraldton, on an 8:6 dayshift roster, that includes the collaboration of 20 countries on a first of its kind project in Western Australia.

The responsibilities and duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Project Manager to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with the contract and time requirements and company policies and procedures
- Proactively manage Projects to achieve quality and to ensure safety at all times
- Developing the resourced based construction program using MS Project and update the program on a weekly basis.
- Be able to Read the construction drawings and do material take off
- Quality control on site and solving on site issues by raising technical queries
- Looking after QA paperwork including ITPs and ITRs
- Daily and weekly reports
Previous experience in a similar role within experience in civil construction and mining industries is essential, other prerequisites include:
- Degree Qualified Electrical, Civil Engineer or Mechanical
- 5+ years' experience in the any of the following areas: bulk earth works, NBN, fibre and civil construction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering high quality work outputs
- Ability to develop a construction method statement
- Strong PC and MS Office skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Unencumbered valid Western Australia C class manual drivers' licence (or LR, MR, HR, HC, MC)
