Our client is a civil and structural engineering expertise highly sought after by government and infrastructure industry clients. They work in partnership with a variety of delivery agencies to provide technical support across all project stages and work closely with our clients to provide oversight on major infrastructure and building projects around Australia.
They currently require a Senior Project Engineer on a major project in Perth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established goals
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
- Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Communicate project status and progress to senior management and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical field
- Previous experience in major civil projects
- Strong technical background in engineering or a related field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with project management software and tools
