AddressFull time Project Engineerrequired to deliver sustaining capital projects portfolio for a world-class operator. You will be based in Perth, with travel of up to 3 days per week to site to manage brownfield projects.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of our client's team in delivering sustaining capital improvements to a facility that is a leisurely 80-minute drive from Perth.
Key duties include but not limited to:
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders to define the front-end development phases of improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that initiatives are robust, aligned to objectives, economics are clear and deliverables are aligned to the gated deliver process.
- Monitor, control and report all contractor activities, taking required corrective actions to ensure safe delivery of projects.
- Prepare and present scopes and study results to stakeholders as part of gated approval process.
- Participate in site investigations and development of corrective strategies and actions.
- Coordinate required resources, including site functions to ensure best utilisation of skills.
- Identify, mitigate and manage project risks.
- Participate in detailed design review, constructability review and value improvement practices.
- Drive to site (with own/company car) to collaborate with stakeholders. All travel expenses are fully reimbursed.
Key attributes for success:
- Bachelor in engineering, with 5 or more years of experience in project delivery
- Minimum of 4 years in brownfield execution experience, working as a Senior Project Engineer with demonstration of experience in capital projects across all stages/phases, with a mix of time in office as well as plant.
- Experience of petrochemical plant or similar industrial environments.
- Track record of managing stakeholders in a professional and adaptive manner
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A can-do attitude
