How you’ll make a difference
We have an excellent career opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical and Controls) with experience delivering large scale multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects. There has never been a better time to join an organisation centred within the expansion and development of a progressive city.
This position supports the delivery of approved complex water, recycled water and sewage capital projects. The opportunity will allow you to expand your project management skills by supervising construction activities and undertaking project management of small projects.
What you bring to your new role
Support the Program Manager with delivery of assigned infrastructure projects from concept planning, detailed design and specification through to and including construction and commissioning phase.
Provide high level, specialist Electrical and Controls technical advice to the infrastructure projects including drawing reviews, safety in design, site quality inspections and commissioning.
Ensure provisions of all relevant legislation, regulations, agreements, standards, policies, and processes are applied and adhered to in projects.
Investigate, analyse and problem solve issues to arrive at fit for purpose solutions.
Mentor junior project officers and engineers within the project delivery team.
