Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a SeniorProject Engineer to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) Region. Reporting to the Area Manager and interfacing with the broader Delivery Phase Services team. You will be working on a major study for a tier one client in Western Australia. You will work with our client on several key projects with a focus on Renewable Energy. These are significant, multidisciplinary projects.
As we look to transition from traditional energy sources to adopt more renewable alternatives, you can play a key role in enabling and accelerating this change.
We’ll support you every step of the way as you join us in finding sustainable energy solutions to make a positive impact that will last for generations.
Mostly we are looking for a self-starter that is keen to build a long-term career with a leading Engineering Consultancy. We partner with many tier one clients across resources, renewable energy and utilities projects to name a few. This role has development as a core and will allow you to further enhance your Project Engineering experience that will set you up for development into a Project Management career.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Working closely with the Study Manager and Area Manager with project management functions across HSE, scope, cost, schedule, and risk management.
- Assisting the Area Manager with variations.
- Assist with planning and preparation of project reporting and deliverables.
- Provide technical expertise and technical reports to clients, following both client and GHD guidelines.
- Making technical decisions and providing solutions
- Undertake design, and documentation, development and coordination work.
- Project risks and understand associated contingencies.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree qualifications preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant relevant experience in Project Engineering, preferably with experience on execution projects.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary project environment
- Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
