Senior Project Engineer

Core Talent are currently recruiting for a reputable Tier 2 Civil construction company, they are a family-run Construction and Engineering company specialising in the delivery of complex infrastructure. Delivering over $1 Billion in infrastructure Projects across Australia. Covering a wide range of Projects within the following - Rail, Water, Transport, Energy.
About the Role
As the Senior Project Engineer you will be an integral part of the project management team working on newly won $45M project. Including construction of a brand new plant, then modernisation of the existing, adjacent facility.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the delivery of the project, ensuring quality, safety and budget, and schedule targets are met.
• Ensure effective cost control and risk management.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team.
• Provide overall progress reports and other reports related to schedule and cost as required.

What you need

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working on sewerage treatment plants or dam projects
• Experience within treatment facilities will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated capability in development of innovative concepts for solutions to technical, complex issues.
• Experience managing sub-contractors and delivering projects
• Proficiency in MS Project.
