The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA) is an Alliance partnership between Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia, AECOM Australia and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The Alliance is delivering the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project which will, elevated three sections of the rail line and remove six level crossings, create 5 new elevated train stations and create new publicly accessible spaces within the rail corridor.

We’re currently searching for a SeniorProject Engineer – Stations on a full-time basis to work in partnership with our project team across a broad range of works focused on the delivery of 5 new stations to be constructed along the alignment. Reporting through to our Stations Manager, these discipline focused roles will allow you the opportunity to take ownership and deliver critical packages as part of our overall works.
This newly created role will see you:
- Lead and interface regularly with our design partners to deliver a cost effective, buildable design
- Assist with scope development, quantities and provide input to the overall construction methodology and sequence
- Oversee, guide and manage a major builder under a sub-alliance contract
- Interface with other discipline leads to ensure a planned and well sequenced program
- Complete month end reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- Planning, maintaining, coordinating and monitoring construction programs and completion of activities
- Monitoring the design and implementation of temporary works and infrastructure, as required
- Ensuring the works are coordinated with minimal interface disruptions between disciplines and areas
- Establishing regular reports on technical, systems and productivity performances to the Stations Area / Stations Manager
- Managing the projects subcontract builder and its activities at the assigned station
- Conduct short- and medium-term planning
- Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation
- Work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders, subcontractors and local community groups to achieve a best for project outcome.
What you will bring to the team:
- Be an experienced Engineer or feel you’re ready to step up into and take on your next role. You’ll ideally have experience from within the building or complex building sector backed by a formal engineering qualification;
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
- Proven communicator who can lead, train and influence positive those around them.
